Terms

The house rules. WitSquad is made by Skytech.io. By playing or hosting it, you agree to these terms.

Playing

WitSquad is free to play in your browser. It is a game for fun: no money is wagered, and WitSquad does not run contests or award prizes.

Keep it friendly

  • Nicknames, squad names and questions you write must not be hateful, harassing, sexual, threatening, or pretend to be someone else.
  • We filter names automatically and may remove any name, score, share card or question pack that breaks these rules.

Fair play

No bots, scripts, or tampering with the game or its scores. We may remove scores from the leaderboards that look automated or unfair.

Hosts and venues

  • If you host a game, you are responsible for your event, your audience, and any prizes you choose to offer. Prizes and any rules or laws that come with them are between you and your players.
  • Question packs you write are yours. You need the right to use what you put in them, and you let us store and show them in the games you host.

The questions

We check our questions carefully, but trivia can be wrong or go out of date. Answers are provided as-is, and the scoreboard is final for that game.

Our work

The WitSquad game, its code, design, sounds and house questions are © Skytech.io. All rights reserved. Play it, host it and share your results as much as you like. Don't copy, scrape or reverse engineer the game or its questions, or use them to build or train another product.

The fine print

WitSquad is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or stop the game at any time. To the extent the law allows, WitSquad is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using it.

Trademarks

WitSquad, the WitSquad logo and sound, and the associated names are trademarks of Skytech.io and/or Steve Chazin. The official site is witsquad.com. To report infringement, email info@skytech.io.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and playing after a change means you accept it.
